Onyii Alex hails from Anambra State, but she was born in Lagos State. Onyii Alex grew up with her parents and siblings, but she doesn't talk much about her family. She also completed her primary and secondary school education in the state and obtained her First School Leaving Certificate.
She joined Nollywood in 2010
Onyii Alex joined the movie industry in August, 2010, shortly after passing out of secondary schoool. Her love for acting made her join the industry quickly. Her first movie was "3Some", and her role brought her to limelight. It was not surprising that she got nominated for Most Promising Actress category at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award.
