Nkechi Blessing is an actress, singer, script writer, and filmmaker. It was her acting skills that catapulted her into the limelight, and in no time, she became one of the most sought actresses in Nollywood. However, she is more popular in the Yoruba movie industry.
Childhood and Family
Nkechi Blessing Sunday hails from Abia State, born on February 14, 1989. Although she hails from Abia, she was born and bred in Lagos, Nigeria. Nkechi used to have a brother. The latter died, and Nkechi Blessing remained the only child till this day.
Nkechi Blessing hardly talk about her father. However, her mom, Gloria Sunday is still alive, and Nkechi is very proud of her. She bought her a house some time ago.
Education
Nkechi Blessing completed her primary education at Olu Abiodun Nursery and Primary School and Barachel Model College, both in Lagos. She earned a Diploma in Theater Arts at the University of Lagos, Ojo. She also earned a Degree in International Relations from North American University in Houdegbe, Benin Republic.
Acting Career
Nkechi Blessing first featured in the 2008 movie, "Omo Bewaji" after finishing school. After her impressive performance, she was offered more roles. She met Emeka Duru later on, and she was offered a role in "Through Fire", a film directed by Emem Isong. She featured in other movies like "Alakada Reloaded", "The Document", etc.
Blessing made her debut in production with "Omo Lekki", a movie that revolves around young girls living fake lives. She then went ahead to produce other movies like "Church Girls", "Fiditi", etc.
Since starring in "Omo Bewaji", Nkechi has featured in and produced over 60 movies throughout her career.
Marriage and Relationship
The curvy actress is not married. However, she has a child from her ex whom she broke up with in late 2019. After the break up, she took to her IG page to apologise to men for turning them down in the past. She then asked men to try their luck and that she was single again.
