Kim K's marriage to Kanye West has finally hit rock bottom, as the reality TV star officially documents her $2.1 billion divorce settlement from Kanye West. Kim will release the full details of the divorce documents in the final season of the E! show, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians".

The TV star and entrepreneur, 40, filed for divorce officially on Friday, bringing an end to a blissful seven years of marriage. The past few months of her life was filmed for the final season of the E! show, with her marital situation the focal point of the new season.

Though the final season of KUWTK will come to an end this year, reports have stated that the family has signed lucrative deals with Star and Hulu to air a new unscripted show, coming up later this year. It's been confirmed that the new program will also touch light on Kim's split from Kanye.

Despite the final season fully about Kim's split, Kanye will likely not appear in any parts of it. The rapper is also devastated about the whole situation.

An insider says that although Kim felt sad about the divorce, she felt somewhat relieved later after filling for it officially on Thursday. Now, she feels confident in her decision. According to the source, Kim understands the situation and the decision that she has taken because she knows what's best for herself and her family.

"She's already felt like she's been divorced for months now. It's been a long time coming and she feels relieved to be able to finally move on".


Kim had already expressed to the kids that she loves Kanye, but need to be apart for a while. She felt they don't fully longer understand what's going on and already used to the situation. The source confined that North, the eldest has seen her parents apart and doesn't feel surprised about them living apart.

The source said Kim couldn't wait any longer, and so, decided to proceed legally to file for a divorce.

Kanye and Kim's marriage started having some shakeups during summer when Kanye shared some personal information about their marriage and family on TV during his presidential bid. Not only did he do that, he made an outburst on Twitter, accusing his wife, Kim of cheating on him.

Kim tried to give it a chance, but her relationship with Kanye made no progress, and it became more apparent that divorce was the only solution. The two have been living separately for months.

Kim will meet up with her lawyer and that of Kanye during the prenup to discuss how to share their combined $2.1 billion asset amicably between each other.
