The most prestigious Nigerian music award took place yesterday at a resort in Ibeju-Lekki with YBNL artist Fireboy going home with five wins. Other artist who won include Davido, Wizkid, Omah Lay, and Joeboy.
The Headies Award 2020 was capped by the good, the bad, and ugly moments. Various artists were in attendance, showcasing their outfits and glowing in different designer suits. The winners apart, we take a look at some of the best moments at the Headies.
Bella Shmurda's Grammatical Blunder
Singer, Bella Shmurda was also in attendance. The singer dressed in some fly suits and well-polished shoes. However, his outfit wasn't what made the headlines. The singer who got nominated in the "Next Rated Category" made a grammatical blunder when asked by the red carpet host how he felt to be nominated in the category.
Responding, Bella Shmurda said;
"I came here to chill..you know.
I came here to do my thing.
I didn't came here for the award.
I just came here to vibe"

Bovi's Outfit
Another thing that capped the event was the host's outfit, Bovi. Rather than dressing in expensive leather jackets or native designs, the comedian decided to dress in a customized #EndSARS outfit. This was unexpected but brave of the comedian.
