Former minister and veteran journalist, Tony Momoh has passed on. Tue lawyer died at the age of 81.
Tony Momoh, who is the owner of Channels TV died around 5pm on Monday, 1st of February, 2021 after a brief illness.
Prince Tony Momoh was born on April 27, 1939 in Auchi, Edo State. He was a renowned lawyer, politician, owner of Channels TV, and the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Governing Council of the University of His.
He was also the National Chairman of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), now merged into the APC.
Tony Momoh was known for his blunt opinions and statements, especially regarding federalism and money spent in political offices.
